My local Walmart has Brita Fill n Go Bottles on sale for $3. Anyone interested might want to check their local Walmarts. Of course, I bought mine last month for $6.97.:( Now if they would just put the filters on sale...

Oh well.

Also, a local Rite Aid had fans on necklaces for $1.49 (NOT a sale price) and Disney sunglasses 50% off (buy one get one free).

Just FYI.

Thanks for the info. I've been sort of looking around for the Brita bottles (when I remember), and not found them yet. I've been planning on going to Walmart in the next couple of days, so I'll look there!

they're a great item but I found that we didn't use them like we thought we would...it was much easier to carry bottle water into the park (1 cold each person and a couple frozen ones) everyone carried their own and then we could just throw them away!

I would rather not run out today. Thanks!

I just bought the Culligan bottle with filter at Big Lots for $.98 a few days ago. Is this comparable to the Brita? I think I may go back and get a few more just in case. What a deal!

The sale must not be at all WalMarts because I just bought mine last night for $6.97.

Do you know where you found the bottles at Big Lots? I couldn't find them anywhere

Good Morning

I found the Culligan bottles at Big Lots here in Mississippi. They were on the aisle with the plastic food containers like rubbermaid type things. They are in boxes that are tall and slender like the shape of the bottle, so they might be easily overlooked. As far as Big Lots goes, there is no rhyme or reason to where most things are placed on the shelves. I find myself spending more time in there as opposed to Wal Mart, but when I come upon a great find, I'm thrilled! Just keep looking. Also, the inventory from store to store must vary. Good luck. I think these bottles were quite a find! :wave2:

The reason they are in hardware is because all of the water filter products are together. Some of the filters attach to the water line going into your refridgerator, thus, the hardware section.
