very excited! chef mickey & pirates cruise

I almost forgot to book chef mickeys (9/29) and the pirates cruise (10/4) for my 3 dds. Called at 5:32 PM and was not too optomistic since everyone on these boards says call on such and such a day at the butt crack of dawn blah blah blah.......well let me tell you that I booked both without any problem at all. I was pleasantly surprised! any one out there worried about making ressies - just GO FOR IT!

I called 20 times in 26 days & finally got ressie! I booked both 10/1 and 10/4 for Pirate Cruise for my 2 DS 8yo & 9yo.

I kept trying because they said they had no openings each time. I figured if someone called & cancelled I wanted to be sure to get their opening!

Was told reason may have been someone booked entire cruise for a private party then cancelled, opening it for the rest of us again.

The Pirates Cruise can be booked 120 days out. I am not aware of any requirement that you must be an on-site guest. I would suggest calling right at 7:00am Eastern time to make the reservation.

Thanks i called the WDW-DINE # and they said yes 120 days out and that we don't have to be resort guest to sign up for the cruise.. and i also can hang out and enjoy the GF til they get back.. I so have disney fever..Can't wait to get there!! Bye
