I know this has been asked & answered before on this board, but I missed it. How exactly do you open more than one window within one site to do more than one search at a time. I've "heard" that people do this with milesource & with disneyawards ( each of the 3 different search windows) I spend over 2 hrs today trying to do the 30 searches due to big problems with GOTO & Ask Jeeves & I've about had it with putting soooo much time into a program for 3 months with nothing to show for it. If I could cut down on my search time that would help. I do know how to open more than one window at a time in IE to do say Searchcactus & Howhot together(used to work great when howhot was around). But as soon as I try to open GoTo & Ask Jeeves together, the first window closes right up. Please help.

Click on Tools-Internet options-Advanced-under browsing uncheck reuse windows for launching shortcuts


this should take care of it let me know

Mal, its me again. Can't find anything about reusing windows, closest I have is "launch browser windows in a separate process" & that has a check in the box. Is that what I should uncheck? Thanks

Mal its version 5. My daughter knows more about computers than I do, & she couldn't figure it out either. She said something is set incorrectly but she couldn't figure out what it was.

Mal, thanks for all your help. I've got to get off the computer now, so I'll try it later & let you know how it goes. I alrady did disneyawards today & had no problems with the searches, so at least it was a lot better than yesterday.

Mal, I'm back. I downloaded IE 5.5 & unclicked the box next to "reuse windows for launching shortcuts". I went to disneyawards & tried to do some more searches. I put in a search topic in each search engine, then clicked each. They opened one on top of each other. If I do this in order with Mama ending up on top, I can then click on a result? Then do I just close them all up & start over? Have I finally gotten it, or not? Thanks for all you patience & help.

you can open multiple searches on go and Mama but not Jeeves! Let me know when you have gotten searches down to 15 minutes!

Male, I did then in well under 15 minutes & that's with clicking on 3-5 links in all the "mamas" because I pick things for those searches that I really want info about. Thanks again for all your help.
