How far of a walk from POR to POFQ restaurant? We're hoping to stay in Magnolia Terrace. If we drive there, are there any parking restrictions? I know you're usually only given a 3 hr pass, but I think maybe b/c POR and POFQ are almost one resort that we won't have to do that?

It's been awhile, but I think we walked it in 10-15 min taking our time.

On a couple of other occasions, we took the boat and got off at the French Quarter.

Hi! We just got back from Riverside last night and enjoyed many a walk between the two resorts. I'd agree that it would be a 10-15 minute walk, maybe even shorter, from Magnolia Terrace to the French Quarter. If you wanted to drive, there are no parking restrictions for Riverside guests going to French Quarter. You can drive from one parking lot to the other across Sassagoula Circle without having to go through any security gates.

Have fun and enjoy some beignets!

Sounds like fun to me. My tribe will be at Riverside June 4-9 & my oldest son wants to slide down the dragon slide at the FQ pool.
Can't wait

Can anyone post a link to an old map that shows both POFQ and POR on it? I've found the new maps but was looking for one that shows both and also has bldg #'s for POFQ.

I don't have a link to a site with a map, but I can email you a .jpg of the map if you are still interested. Just email me at etyper333@aol.com

There's a map of POR/POFQ resort at www.allearsnet.com It's found under POR photos.

Agree it should not take you more then 10-15 minutes. There is no longer a resturant at POFQ. It closed a few years ago.
