I've gotten my second clippie but I'm confused...I've been lounging on the Beach since Jan 5. Usually Monday mornings I weigh myself and measure my bust, waist and hips. For the past couple of weeks I've been losing pounds but not inches??? Where is it coming from? Or is it just an evil plot concocted by my scale and tape measure? (They DO spend a lot of time together in the bathroom!! {plotting??})
Has anyone else ran into something similar? Where else should I be measuring? Arg!!

Don't be alarmed! There are many times when your scale will move but your measurements will stay the same. Then, when the inches start melting away, the scale will stay the same. This is very common on a low-carb / controlled-carb diet, like South Beach.
Hang in there & know that you're perfectly normal! :sunny:

Doe has explained it so well!
I will add that I have measured and some weeks I am actually bigger in some places! Not by much but that is the way it has gone for me. I measure in just about every possible place I can. my neck, bust, waist, stomach, hips, thighs, ankles arms and wrists.
Have a happy day on the Beach!
