Ok, so how was the Flower and Garden Festival and
most of all
HOW WAS DAVEY JONES!!!!!! You all just do not
know how hard it was for me that I was not there
this weekend for EVERY SINGLE PERFORMANCE!!!!
All I can do is pray that he is there next year and
that maybe Mickey Dolenz will be with him :)

Dana,
We saw him last year and he was fantastic! :hyper:
He was in the audience, looked great, did tons of his old hits, and just schmoozed everyone as they sang along with him.
I think he will continue to be an annual regular. He now lives in Florida, and he talked about his many trips to WDW by himself and with his grandkids. ::yes:: He joked about how easily he blends in -- just another grandpa, cruisin' the parks, with a baseball hat and shades. :earsgirl:

Quoting a famous passage from another book
For Ed so loved his Dana, that he gave his only other day off. To sit in the heat, waiting for that geek. So I could film him and the memory will not perish, but have everlasting life in her VCR.

We're hoping to catch Paul Revere and Arlo Guthrie too!
Even now, I am desperately searching for my hip hugging-tie dyed-bell bottom jeans . . . Oh, wait. I can just go buy a new pair at any teeny-bopper store in the mall.

Does anyone have a list of who is playing when? I realize this will change depending on whether these guys get released from the nursing home but I am curious who will be there from May 4 - May 14. Nothing quite like a bunch of women old enough to be my mom freaking out at some dude that looks like he belongs in the haunted mansion. I can feel a story or two coming out of this...

I would hate to see you running through Epcot ..weaving through the topiary..w/ a dozen of these fleet of foot "women old enough to be your mother" hot on your tail Heck bent on beating the (insert proper wording here) w/ their loaded to the hilt handbags!!! And we know who we are, And we are ready!!!!!

Davey Jones? Who's that??? That was my first reaction when I saw this post. Then it took me about 3 seconds to remember--The Monkees!!! I was totally in love with that group as a teenager, expecially Davey Jones. I couldn't wait until Monday night at 7:30 pm to see their show. I had pictures of all of them all over my bedroom walls (and I'd get dressed in the closet). My mother said its just a phase, and there'd come a time when I wouldn't even care about them. I thought "no way". Well, guess Mom was right--I couldn't even remember them at first. So Davey's a grandfather. Guess he started early or I started late--I'm a SAHM to two 7 year old twins, a boy and girl. That doesn't give me much time to think about dear ol' Davey (who was that, again?):o    :hyper: :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
