June isn't even as hot as we get ...July/August are the worst! But then again....when you live here, it is just a normal summer. I have lived here nearly 13 years. 3 years ago I went back up to NY (born and raised there).... in Aug, went to Cooperstown & boy was I cold!!! Everyone was laughing at me... my blood has thinned out living here. I wear a jacket when it is 70..... when I lived in NY... I would wear shorts when it was 70!

I lived in Florida for most of my life, and now I live in Louisiana, so the heat doesn't bother me either. Just the other day it was "so cold" here, it was almost 71 degrees!!!! I was freezing!!!!!

One tip though........ I'd bring one of those misting fans or just a small pocket fan..... they should help even if only a little. Also, there are plenty of places with AC, if you get too hot, take a break.

What you do is arrive to the park early at 8am, take your lap, enjoy walkon rides, and by the time you come back to the front of the park, it's noon and hot.
That's when you go back to your room, eat lunch, take a nap, maybe the pool, come back at 4pm. Grab a drink on your way in at CityWalk, Nascar, or Buffetts. Back into the park, grab another happy drink before 5pm, go on some rides.

From 12-4pm is the worst time to be at the park. It's packed, the heat burns up the pavement and makes things very hot.

When you arrive at 4pm, it will still be hot, but not even close to the afternoon. The sun will go down, you'll have on clean cloths, you're rested, and you'll enjoy the evening.
