How bad are the bugs at the end of June? Are they bad all day or just at night, etc? I am planning on bringing some type of bug spray with me. I am trying to figure out if the standard Off will work or do I need something stronger. I have never been to WDW in the summer so I am feeling a bit lost. Thanks! :D

Well, I'm in Louisiana and we have weather similar to Orlando. That being said, we already have mosquitoes. Have for at least 3 weeks.
Yeah, they will be as bad in June as they are in July or August.
sorry........;)

ETA..... here, they are only bad in the day if you can find a spot that is pretty much completely shaded. I assume you are talking about mosquitos.....

I figured there would be some bugs. I guess I better be prepared for the worst. I meant mosquitoes and bugs of all kinds. Has anyone tried the 100% DEET stuff? How does that work?

Disney sprays and bugs have never been a problem when I've visited.

We haven't been in June, but did not have any bug trouble in May, July or August except at the Fort Wilderness campfire. I have not been bothered by bugs at the parks at all.

Six trips in June/Early July. Have NEVER had a bug problem. Go and have a great time.

I don't doubt that people don't have bug problems IN disney World.....I'm guessing they spray pertty well and work hard to keep it under control. (Have that image to maintain and all. :hyper: ) I'd still suggest bringing some bug repellent for if you go offsite.

The only problem I have ever had with any bugs at WDW was when we stayed at the Polynesian last June (first week). Whenever we were by the water, we got eaten alive by mosquitoes. (no - we weren't protected with bug spray)
