Anyone else recieve a PM for a cab quote?

Just curious if anyone else has received a PM for a cab quote? IF so did they get a quote for their vacation and are they considering using the cab service? Are you allowed to do that on these boards...I don't post much...so I'm not too sure! Thanks!

I have not gotten anything, but, Maybe I am wrong but I would think that they should not be allowed to pm you... I would think that it would be considered advertising.

Hey Pottstown...I'm in Linfield. I kind of thought the same but wasn't sure. Not really looking to get anyone in trouble but I just wanted to see if it was on the "up & up" so to speak. It kind of struck me as odd that the person would just PM and ask if I wanted a quote. I was kind of curious and did respond...but it just isn't sitting right. The more I think about it the more it bothers me... So I thought I'd see if anyone else was PM'd.

I have noticed lately that a few cab owners have been posting with their rates etc. I am sure that a cab is okay for some, but I like the idea of a town car. I like to know the rate up front and not take the chance of getting stuck in traffic and have the meter running on a cab, and the grocery stop is a plus as well.
