Question about pressed pennies in Fort Wilderness

If you are not staying at Fort Wilderness, but at another on-site resort, is it possible to go into Fort Wilderness and use the pressed pennies machines? There are three or four designs that myself and memebers of my family would like to get from there and we were just curious what the policy was on this.

There is still a possibility that we will stay at Fort Wilderness, but it will depend on if my grandmother and mother join us.

The pressed penny machines I remember seeing were accessible to anyone - at the Meadows Trading post and at the Pioneer Hall area. Lost of people go to Fort Wilderness just to attend the Hoop de Doo or the campfire so you don't have to stay there to get to the pressed penny machines.

Thank you so much! According to the penny/quarter list we have, the ones we want are at the Settlement Trading Post and the Meadow Trading Post.

Do you know of any place online that you could see actual images of some pressed pennies? My son really wants to see what they look like.

it says 2002, but it's the newest site I've seen. Also on All Ears they suggest using pennies older than 1982 for best results because before 82 they were made of pure copper, after 82 zinc was added. Hope that helps!

Just wanted to add that the above website does have pictures of the pressed pennies. They are under the Disneyland link rather than Disney World. I'm assuming they look about the same though.
