Fun Kids Dance Party -Downtown Disney

Our girls had a blast! We have never discovered this before, but there was a kids dance party last Friday/Sat and now this Wed-Sat at Downtown Disney - complete with a DJ. They has so much fun we went 3 times (and they slept great after, too!).

Party was from 630-930 across from World of Disney on the stage area! Have fun!

Wow! That sounds like a blast! Can you give me some more info? Was there a charge for this? Where can you find a schedule?

I'd love some more info about this as well. Did you happen to see any teens enjoying themselves at this dance party, or was it more of a pre-teen thing? I'm very interested in more info on this...we're heading down this week with a large group of teens, and this sounds promising since they will not be able to get into any of the PI dance clubs without an adult.:)

This event was geared toward younger kids...most were under 12. However some groups of teens stopped by and danced a bit off to the side.

No charge - just come on down to the stage and dance. Parents were asked to get involved (during the Twist, chicken dance, etc.). The only place we saw a schedule was on the info board just outside of the stage area (across from World of Disney). HTH

My daughters enjoyed this when we went last summer. They had a couple really good dancers up on stage getting the kids going.

We saw a bit of this last week.

It was so cute, the kids were having a blast. When we walked past, most of kids were about 5 and younger. They appeared to be having more fun than the parents.

How awesome! How can I find out what days they will have this while I am there? 4/20 - 4/26. I think my girls (5yo) would love it!

i'd also like some info on this - we are coming in July with six kids ranging from 4 t0 16 - its going to be hard tp keep them all occupied but at least the disco would please the four youngest

We went on the disney cruise in Feb. My DD loved the dance parties. I am taking her to WDW in August and she is sad becasue she wants to dance. This would be perfect. Any ideas on where you can find the stage schedule in advace would be greatly appreciated.

The dates and times were posted on the info board outside of the area they had the party in...I'm not sure what it's called but it is also where the high school bands perform across from World of Disney.

Maybe if you call the 407 disney number they can help?

This is a great idea for the kids! I'm hoping it's not just a temporary activity and will be continued at DD, especially when we go at the end of the year!!
