I would like to take my family, including ds's 7 and 5 and ds's 4 and 1, from Wilderness Lodge to the petting zoo at Ft. Wilderness and am looking for the best way to do it. The walk would be too long and I don't look forward to driving to the campground and then taking the internal bus. Does the boat go directly between the Wilderness Lodge and the Campground or will we need to take a trip to the MK in one direction or the other?
Would appreciate your help.

Earlier this year we took the boat directly from WL to Ft. Wilderness campground. It was a nice ride. Just make sure you get on the boat with the correct color flag. The red flag boat goes to MK. I can't remember if the boat to FW was blue or green or some other color.

Thanks Gary.
Does that mean that we can then take that boat directly from FW to WL without having to go to the MK?
If so it would be a great help.

Yep, there is one boat that just stays in Bay Lake. It stops at the Contemporary, Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness. I'm not sure which order it stops at each though. There is a sign on the dock that shows which flag to look for.

Thanks DisnyDad
Does anyone have an idea how late the boats run?
