How long is the Chef Mickey dinner??

Can someone give me an estimate on how long the Chef Mickie dinner will be? Our PS is at 8:15pm and we would like to go up on the roof/balcony and watch Wishes at 9pm. Is this possible. If we show up before 8pm for our PS, can we get in earlier? Thank you for all your help!!

a few days now and did Chef Mic Fri 4/2. We had a 7pm PS. We sat for dinner at about 7:05. We got there at least 20 minutes earlier and there was no way they were seating us earlier. It was busy, they were getting walkins, had to get pics taken, see Donald in the foyer area....We left dinner around 8:15...we got lucky though that all the characters came within the first 20 min. of being there. I think you may be cutting it close, especially if you are not seated right away. We had a great dinner. Chicken, salmon, prime rib, rice, mashed pot. and a great sundae bar!! We had a great evening, enjoy it. Can Wishes be worked in on a different day or did you want to see it from the CR since you'll be there? Maybe try to move the PS time to earlier time. Good luck.

Move the PS up. The place is so much fun and the food is so good; don't rush it! Plus it seems in general that the earlier you eat at WDW, the shorter your wait, even with PS. We sat by 6 and when we left at 7:30 or so, there was quite a line of folks waiting to be seated. We had a ball and the meal was yummy, It was our first time and we really enjoyed the whole experience. Afterwards we shopped at the gift shope and went out on the 4th floor observation decs. The kids got a kick out of that!
