I realize the HDD is a preplated meal. I have some rather picky eaters, though. I've heard several people mention that they were able to get a hot dog or some mac and cheese when they were there since the CMs got the food from next door. I didn't think this fell into the "special request for dietary needs" but I wasn't sure.

I'm hoping they'll eat the fried chicken but just in case they don't, was wondering how difficult it'd be to get them something else.

These will be the most expensive hot dogs I've ever purchased!!

Thanks!

M&C'sMom, we also have a couple of meal requests. I was told to call this number(1-407-824-2803) about 48hrs out. It will get you in touch with HDD special doning. Susan

The last time we were at the HDD, we asked the waiter if we could get mac & cheese for the kids -- no problem. The food is brought to the table in 'bucket's' -- it is not preplated. You can request more of what ever you want. The bread & honey butter is wonderful!! We have been to the HDD many times & enjoy it each time ---- have FUN --- don't worry about the 'expensive' hot dog or mac & cheese !!!!:D

When we were at HDD in July we saw the waitress bring someone else a slice of pizza. We asked if she could get my DS7 a slice also. It was no problem at all.

My mother-in-law is vegeterian. She didn't think to call ahead and special order a meal. When the waiter saw that she wasn't eating much, he asked why, and had a beautiful pasta dish to her in a matter of minutes.

He did tell her that if she would call ahead next time, they would do something much better for her. (She said the pasta was great, and didn't know what they could have done better.)
