Magic Kingdom today! We’re up early again and have a light breakfast at Everything Pop again. We’re at the Magic Kingdom for 8am – lovely!

There are 75 Mickeys placed around the entrance to the Magic Kingdom to celebrate his birthday, so naturally when I find a purple one we have to take a photo of it.

We head straight to Tomorrowland. Hubby goes on Space Mountain and I head for the TTA as hubby wants me to wait for him to go on Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, one of my fave rides.

I wait about 10 minutes after getting off the TTA, which was totally empty and I had a whole carriage to myself. We head to Buzz – no queue at all. I get my highest score ever – 103,400! Don’t ask me how I got it coz I have no idea lol. I got Planetary Pilot woohooo. Second time though I only managed 30,000. Hmph. We buy one of the photos from the ride as it’s quite funny. After 2 straight goes on Buzz, we went on the TTA together before heading towards Adventureland. We walk through Fantasyland and again, there are no queues. We go on my favourite Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, followed by Peter Pan’s Flight which I’ve never ridden before – quite sweet really.

Next we did Mickey’s PhilharMagic – wow! What a wonderful show. Shame it’s so short, it goes by so quick. Some of my all-time fave Disney moments are in this show – including Lumiere with Be My Guest from Beauty & the Beast and Ariel singing Part of Your World from the Little Mermaid. See this – it’s outstanding!

We’re impressed by Early Magic Hour – we’ve managed to do 9 rides in 2 hours! We then find some characters to pose with.

During our walk we stop at Haunted Mansion and there’s no wait time so we do it – good fun. We don’t do Pirates of the Caribbean as I’ve heard there’s a drop at the beginning. The cast member describes it to me and I tell hubby he’ll have to do it alone but he decides not to. We aim for the Jungle Cruise but it’s a 45 minute wait so no thanx! We make it to Frontierland and hubby goes on Splash Mountain – no queue – followed by Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. I do some shopping, buying a lovely Eeyore watch, and wait for hubby near Liberty Square. We then head back to Tomorrowland for a bite to eat. We get to Buzz Lightyear and again there’s no queue, so I drag hubby on again. We then go to Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café for burgers. We laugh at the alien dude they’ve got playing music at the front of the place. Well cute.

After lunch, we find an internet phone to access mail – we want to see if our Mission Space card has arrived yet. Only Andy gets it, it never gets to my hotmail addy. I want to go into Mickey's Star Traders only to find it shut.

Hubby regales me for the rest of the afternoon with his Tigger impressions, including the T-I-double G-Rrrrr which is funny.

We decide to go on the Timekeeper ride which has the voice of Robin Williams – man did I feel sick! Never again. It’s one of those huge screens so you feel like you’re moving all the time. After this, we pick our official photos. There are 2 of us – one with the castle in the background, and another with Tink in our hands. We can’t decide between the two so we buy both.

We head back to the hotel as we’ve done all the rides we wanted. We relax for a bit before heading to Ponderosa for dinner. I had steak and hubby had chicken. From the buffet we had meatballs, macaroni cheese, chicken nuggets and rice, followed by jelly and ice cream for pudding. Then it's back to the hotel and I request we stay in as I’m exhausted. Early night for me again and hubby has a few beers.
