Delta on-line sale???

Anyone know how to book online with delta without getting a skymiles account for my 4 year old?? I get enough junk mail - don't want any for her, too!

Why not get a skymiles account. You will then start earning miles towards a free ticket. Isn't that worth the extra junk mail?

I booked online for my family without getting a Sky Miles account for my kids. I don't remember how I did it. I just did it!

At one time you could do this, but, no more. All people booking via the net have to have a Delta number.
Not sure what the problem would be getting one for your child. Like someone else said, they earn the miles and it can pay off someday. You can also opt out of any advertisment mailings. Then you will only get the statement.

I took my family of 9 last August and had to register everyone. Now let me warn you, I now get Delta junk mail times 9!! ugh. Not sure if it was worth it. Since a lot of it is credit card stuff, I have to open everything and shred it!

Of course you need to open up the mail to be sure they gave each family member the right number of miles!

Keep track of those bonus miles, too.

I don't know if any airlines still do this but at one time if you were not a member of United's Mileage Plus, they would not let you select seats until about 30 days in advance. Or was it 24 hours in advance?

You don't need to get out the electric paper shredder for the kids' credit card app's, just tear them in four pieces. The ones trying to sell the kids life insurance, you can just toss them in the trash whole.
