The new Nickleodeon Holiday Inn Suites - progress??

We are considering having a look at the new Nickleodeon themed holiday inn suites. Just wondering if there is any more news on these - opening dates? Prices?

It is not a new resort. They are redoing the one located on Continental Drive off of 536. We drove past it last week and there are construction trailers and fences around the hotel but no real sign of any changes yet. They may be doing the interior first.

Is this going to be affiliated with US/IOA or Loews?? Is this going to be another of thier resorts??? My ds would love a nickelodeon hotel............ lord, I hope it is affiliated, so we can still get fotl, cause if he see's it, we'll have to stay there....... LOL

The HIFS are not affiliated with Loews or Universal. Sorry! I know my kids will want to stay there sometime too. I figure we will stay at a Loews hotel for several nights , enjoy our time at Universal and IOA then move over there to spend a couple of extra days.

Thanks for replies. It's a possibility, though don't know what's around there as far as restaurants etc.

This hotel is the holiday inn family suites (HIFS) in Lake Buena Vista.

It is scheduled to open as a 'Nick" hotel in 2005 but I believe it will still be in the "Holiday Inn Family" unfortunetely they will no longer accept the Entertainment Card . :(


This is a great hotel for families - Great Pools - Daily fun activities for the kids - does have shuttles to disney but not universal - You need a car if you want to eat out. There is NOTHING within walking distance.
