May I join in for the first time? I am fairly new to scrapbooking but I have become addicted so quickly. My CM Consultant just dropped off my latest order here at work today!

I know there is no way I be able win as I have so little time for scrapping, but I thought it would be fun to participate in this thread. I have had a productive few days and completed 2 pages since Thursday morning and have a 3rd one nearly finished. I am working on my very first scrapbook, dd's first year. Scrapbook #2 will be of our May WDW trip.

Okay this time I'm really going to work on pages!!! I promise. My goal is to do at least 15 layouts or 30 Pages.... Wish me luck! LOL

ok -- i'm in here for April :) I actually finished up several pages today with journaling, I don't suppose that counts?

I have finished the cruise part of our Dec trip and started the parks -- I have to buy another album! My Mickey album is too full so I'll to go one for the cruise and one for the parks!:eek:

so anyhow -- can I count my work today at all? I computer journaled and completed like 10 pages, could I count that as maybe 4 or 5? your call, i'm not in these challenges often!

Congrats on winning the March Challange!

Seeing it's going on the 4th day of rain, Lots of Scrappin Going On. I done 15 pages in 2 days. Considering it takes me an hour plus per-page, I've done nothing but scrap for 2 days.

If it ever stops raining and warms up, I have my gloves, boots and rake ready for some Spring Clean-up. Until then guess I'll Keep on Scrappin.

As long as you have completed a page it counts. Lots of scrappers do layouts and then days (even weeks or months) later do their journaling. So count your pages.

I'm in this month. Not sure how much I'll get done as it is a busy month for me extracurricular wise. Not much in the way of work so I am hoping to scrap a little hear and there.

I spent all yesterday scrapping and finished 14 pages. I worked on my albums from noon until 11. Right now I'm trying to get my brother's book caught up. I have doubles of the pictures I want to use and hammer out 4 pages (a layout for him and and a layout for me) using the same design.

My goal this month is to get my brother's book caught up (including his recent Spring Break photos) and finish the layouts of our house (buying it, new windows, new siding, new flower garden).

Count me in. Just had some more film developed. And will be working like crazy on my daughters album before she graduates. Between that and CM I should be steady for the next few months.

I'm going to jump in on this month's challenge as well. I'm feeling really good and with my cousin coming down for Spring Break we plan to scrap non-stop this week. In that case I better get off the computer and get to it.... :p

I'd like to join this month's challenge. Anything to keep me motivated, LOL. Right now I'm working on a Disney album for my dear 13 yo nephew. He went to Disney with us last June, and his dad, my brother, couldn't go with us, so the album is really for my brother, and I'm going to give it to him on Father's Day. I'm also working on a baby book for my sister, it's her baby pictures. My mom had a photo album for each of us, and my sister's is literally falling apart, so I'm redoing it as a scrapbook. It was so much fun ordering all the pink girly embellishments for it. Hopefully I'll get both of them done this month.

So, Michelle, you are doing great!!! As you can see --- some of us aren't doing very well.

Now that Easter is over, I hope to get a lot done. My sister is coming up today. Hopefully we will get a lot done while she is here (2-3 days). We tend to inspire each other.

I was planning to compete this month and as it stands would probably be in first place. Just sitting in the ICU waiting room got to me after about 1 day so I'd haul a bag of scrapping stuff up with me and work on it from early morning until late into the evening when we'd leave in between visits to Mom's room.

I finished our cruise from last summer and caught up DS's Boy Scout book. Two projects I've been meaning to finish for sometime. I haven't counted for sure but know I went through at LEAST 3, probably 4 or more Dalee refill packs - both sides of the page. So somewhere in the neighborhood of 60 or more pages is my best guess. Maybe I'll go back and count but I'm not sure. However, I think the circumstances gave me an unfair advantage in that respect.

Deb, I am very sorry for your loss. However, the phrase "out of something sad, look for something good" applies to what you wrote about scrapping during those long waits in the hospital. It is amazing how much you got done under the curcumstances.

Been working on DD's birthday book and have done 34 pages so far this month. Didn't realize how many I had done until I counted them all. WOW. I was surprised at how much stuff I had from other people to put in there.

You're right Judith...and it gave people who came in to join us from time to time something to look at and talk about. Mom & Dad had sailed with us on a previous cruise so he had that to remember and remembering good times helped him get through.

DD's birthday will be done in time for her party Friday (4/23) night. I have DH and my pieces to put in (Yeah, I know. We should have had ours done a long time ago), plus DH's parents and my Dad and his wife. I am also waiting on one of her friends. Her Godmother is supposed to mail me a finished page so when it comes, it goes in.

Whatever I have by Friday afternoon will be part of what she gets. I will have everything done that is in my hot little hands before she gets home from school.

I showed the book to a teacher friend of mine, and she cried most of the way through it. It has been amazing what some people can come up with. Many quotes and words of wisdom. I would be happy to share some of the things that are in there or explain what I did if anyone wants me to.

This is my first post this month. I had previously done 4 pages at an evenin crop. Yesterday I did 26 at an all day event. 12 hours of crop time...yipppeeee!!!! So I am at 30 for the month so far. Not too bad considering my sons baseball has started and we seem to be gone all the time.

I am up to 47 pages done this month. I don't think I'll get anymore done. We have Girls Scouts on Mon, a softball game on Tues, church on Wed, and then another softball game on Thurs. Maybe I won't work much this week and I can take off to LSS and have some me time.:sunny:

I finished 6 more pages last week, so my total is 30. I'm meeting a friend to crop on Tuesday and I'm hoping to finish my wedding album that I'm giving to my dad. I'm printing all the photos today and have cut out some frames while I print. It's my goal to get it finished next week. :thewave:

Does one have to join the challenge at the beginning of the month? At the end of last week I finished a family recipe scrapbook that I gave as a bridal shower gift yesterday. When I decided to tackle this project earlier this month, I thought I would be lucky to have maybe ten pages in the book. Well, I ended up with 50! Plus the sb was quite a hit at the shower! I was quite pleased.

I am a cousin to the groom. After the bride-to-be opened my gift, she opened one from her aunt who made a similar gift - a recipe book of Grandma's recipes. The title page had a cutout photo of Grandma in her wedding dress - really neat old black & white photo. On the last page was an older photo of Grandma - the stereo typical Italian woman - surrounded by phrases Grandma used. There were only a handful of recipes, but I loved how the first one began - "Find a thirty year old frying pan, ...."

i'm not sure if I've posted yet this month -- it has been a crazy month. Total for April I have completed 16 pages. I'm cropping again friday night so i'll update saturday -- but i'm sure I won't surpass the 30 mark-- but it's fun to try!

My grand total for the month ended up being just 7 pages. I have been busy the last 2 weeks getting ready for our WDW trip!!! Maybe once we get back I will be motivated to do some power scrapbooking.

Attended a NSD Scrap on Friday and completed 22 pages. Brings my total for the month at 37.

I may finish this book on rainy days or maybe in heat of the summer, but for now it's garden time.
