First stay at OKW. Bldg. 36, room 3632, 2bd unit. Nice views of lake and golf course. Very remote from main area. Long walk to restaurants and/or activities. Had to use car for everything. We prefer VWL or BW because you can just walk out of your room and have everything right there! Pools weren't that much fun for the kids either, no slides. Once the kids have enjoyed the VWL or BW pools, the OKW pools are a hard sell!
Olivia's had good food (dinner and breakfast).
Other places we ate: Boma's overall good food, excellent desserts! Glad we tried it once. Whispering Canyon was excellent (food and service) lots of fun!
Poly. Luau was also very good. We had a beautiful night weather wise. The show was entertaining and the food and service were both good. Enjoyed walking around the Poly. after. BEAUTIFUL RESORT! Trails End Buffet for lunch was very good. Nice variety for kid's too.
Flying Fish was a bit of a disappointment, after all we read we thought for the money we didn't think it was so great. Had potato wrapped snapper ($28) good but not to die for. Very loud restaurant. Our server was okay, seemed rushed. (just our experience)! Coral Reef was very good. A bit pricey but your'e paying for the atmosphere of course. Crystal palace for dinner was excellent. Food was very good and the selections were fantastic. Steak, seafood variety, salads, soups and loads of desserts. Would do this one again. Made ps ressies on e-nite day at 8:00 pm and then went and walked off food until midnight.
