How does a person know how to get to bid for a certain hotel. I would like to bid for the Wyndham Palace in DTD. What are the clues on how to get this hotel,or is it a crap shoot?

www.betterbidding.com will help you identify a hotwire hotel by their amenities. NO GUARANTEES but pretty accurate.

biddingfortravel.com will tell you what hotels come up in a given zone. You have to be willing to accept any resort in the zone. Wyndham, Hilton (DTD), Gaylord Palms, MOWC and S/D all come up.

There is no way to boost your chances w/ Priceline for a certain hotel. It is truly the luck of the draw. At Hotwire, the betterbidding.com website will help you figure out the amenities listed, but I've seen them be wrong too!!!

W/ priceline it's always a chance. You got to be willing to accept whatever they give you. Most of the resort levels are really nice, and I wouldn't be disappointed with any of them. But if your heart is really set on 1 hotel, don't try priceline.
