Roses ?

I just odered magic roses . I was wanting to plant them under tree roses . Will they fit under tree roses? Also I ordered a Pee Gee Hydrangea tree. Does anyone have one of these trees? I would like to plant it close to the house .

I've had great success with magic roses in beds and a planter with petunias. Never tried it with a rose tree.

I've never had hydrangeas, but our friend who lives in a hot area said that it grows really nice where she lives and they like the sun. Hope that helps you a bit.

Jackson & Perkins always shows magic roses planted under tree roses in their catalog. It looks really pretty. I have a couple of hydrangeas. One is planted between some very large cedar trees and the other is planted right next to the north side of my house. They both are very low maintenance and seem to love where they are.

Thanks for the replys. The hydrangea is to reach 10 to 15 feet tall. I'm hoping the roots will be able to fit where I want to plant it.I talked to the nursey guy today. I guess the tree is new. If it was a bush I would know what to do.( Even the guy at the nursey he wasn't sure!:rolleyes: ) Wish me luck! I'm going to need it!
