I just noticed where US Air has filed bankruptcy. Anyone know how that will affect those of us that has airline tickets? We booked our air through Disney and are scheduled to fly June 12th for a 7 day Western Caribbean Cruise. :magnify:
US Airways filed for bankruptcy protection a long time ago and I believe they have emerged from bankruptcy, too. They still have lots of financial difficulties and are trying to cut costs by, among other things, seeking wage and benefit concessions from their employees. But they are still operating and will be for some time. I am aware of no complaints or problems with their operations since bankruptcy. We're flying them to MCO in a few weeks (out of Pgh, there's not much choice anyway) and I think they're just fine.

Nope, we're on the next flight at 2:25 or 2:30 direct to MCO. Yes, I am VERY EXCITED to be only 3 weeks away! Admittedly, I'm probably more excited than my wife & kids are.
I hope you have a terrific time and safe travel, neighbor!

Too true! We did fly Delta to Jacksonville last year as it was right at the time US Air was emerging from bankruptcy and I was a little nervous about them.
