A lot of folks suggested going to Lands End to try swimsuits on my virtual model, so I did. I don't love these bathingsuits as much as I did the one I can't have, but I think these are doable. Please cast your vote for your favorite. Thanks!

And here is a picture of me taken last month. It isn't a good picture of my face, but it shows my body which is all that counts when trying on a bathingsuit.

Since i'm here... I guess I'll vote.

Chose #4. I think it looks very nice and keeps your body in proportion. I'd buy that 1.

I have to admit though, that seeing all these bathing suits in mostly black(slimming I know) really disheartens me. I'm sick to death of black suits with a few colors added in. Seems like nobody has any imagination in swimsuits these days.
Unless you can wear a bikini.

I "tried" on some of the colored suits, but I just couldn't see myself in one. Maybe it is all the years of wearing black, I don't know. Thanks for the vote.

I voted for #1- I like how the neck is lower and gives a very flattering appearance. I think it brings the eyes up higher and away from the hip and tummy area.

I bought a Lands End bathing suit last summer that has shorts in it. I am hoping for something a little more revealing this year to show off my new figure.

4 would be my second choice as well. I jsut thing 1 looks more like the one you liked, had a better neckline and I tend to like a bit of a pattern!!! Good luck...let us know what ya choose!!!!

Wow, I am so surprised with the results so far. It seems like #4 is the most popular and that really surprises me. I'm going to let this ride for another 24 hours I think and then go from there.

I like all the suits, but #4 & #1 were my favorites. For #4, I thought the blue on top brought the eye up and the black on bottom was very slimming to the hips. On #1, I too liked the v-neckling and thought it gave a long, lean look. I also liked the pattern.

Just a thought-could you order both suits and send back the one you like least after trying them on? (Or would you be like me and like them both and keep both?) I think the virtual model thing is cool, but I would want to know how they feel also. (Are they comfy, do they ride up, etc.) Plus, sometimes I think they just look different when you actually get them on.

I loved your picture. You look fabulous!! Hey! Another thought--you could take pictures in both and post another poll!! (Sez me, who has never posted a picture, much less one of me in a bathing suit! :teeth: )

I really don't think you will go wrong with any of these--they are all cute. When all is said & done, what you should do is choose the one you are most drawn to. That's the one you will feel the best and most confident in! :D

I voted for number 1 -- I love the pattern, and the neckline. My second choice would definitely be number 4.

I voted for #1. The lower cut neckline draws the eye to your cleavage :teeth: (nothing wrong with that!). Plus, I'd rather people looked there than at my bottm!! I also think the pattern is more apt to conceal/distract than all that solid black on the bottom. Let us know what you decide!!

I actually thought about doing both of your suggestions. I may very well order both, but I am not sure I am brave enough to post a picture of me in a swimsuit....that is really putting ones self out there!

I voted for #4, but also like #1 with the neckline, just not the b/w print. I'd hold out for a #1 style with a #4 color. :p

I finally placed my order, so I will let you know how it works out after I receive them. I ordered #1 in Navy instead of black and I ordered #4. My plan is to try them both on and to keep the one I like best.....I just hope one of them work out. I'll keep you posted. :)

Wish I'd gotten here earlier to check this thread again. Tigger, did you check the return policy for Bathing suits? Some states have a law stating that all bathing suit sales are final for sanitary reasons. I don't know if that would apply to the internet or not. Anyhow, i wish you luck with your suits and let us know which 1 you plan on keeping.

You know, that is something I never thought about. I am pretty sure that Lands End takes them back as I returned a suit to them last summer, but I will check just the same.
