View Full Version : SaveMichealEisner.com?
http://www.savemichaeleisner.com/
Now don't get me wrong, I'm all for equal time, but this website is ameturish. Clearly it's just some internet guy who doesn't agree and thinks the sun rises and sets in Eisner's butt.
Which is fine, everybody is entitled to their opinion, but SaveDisney is done by professionals with funds, if he really wanted to make a difference he would spend the cash.
Unless of course it's just a farce in which case, it's pretty funny.

Huh?? Why would the amount of $$ spent on a website be equivalent to the amount of difference someone would like to make in regards to this issue??
I think it's fairly impressive that someone saw fit to get Eisner's viewpoint out there seeing that ME himself is not doing the same thing that Roy and Stanley did, promoting himself through a self-serving website.
You can put all the bells and whistles on a website you want, but if it doesn't get you the information you want in an efficient manner, then it is worthless.
BTW...I'm not a fan of ME or RoyStan DisneyGold, I'm a fan of the Walt Disney Company.

I saw it earlier and it's good for a chuckle. The guy is so offbase in some cases, it's funny. Hey, maybe it's ME in disguise! ;)

..... this site doesn't look any more amaturish then the original version of Roy and Stan's site.
As far as spending money on a better website: How does money make it better. My DS can sit down and knock out an astounding website in a day or so and it won't cost him a dime....other then the cost of the host server.
And even you YoHo gotta admit the Skybuckets were a nice touch.

No he is promoting himself using your dollars as a fan of WDC. He is using your dollars to fly in the jets that your dollars purchased to meet with the heads of pension plans in Ohio and New York to save his job. Everything he does is self-serving because it sure doesn't serve the patrons or investors of WDC.
Well Vike, maybe you should tell your son to offer his services.
It isn't just spit and polish. The language the guy uses is absolutly horrid. If you are going to try to do this kind of thing, you take the time to dot your i's and cross your t's good language = good communication. Even when Save Disney was in its infant stages, the language was well used and crafted. This guy just sounds like a bitter internet poster with too much time on his hands.

Agreed.
But what about them Skybuckets ?

Regardless of how much he spent, or didn't spend, the guy is so far off-base he's not even in the right stadium. But then again, having a clue has never been a requirement for starting a website.
The Skybuckets are funny.

Looks like he is dedicated. He only took the website for a year. Maybe he is out to make a buck off of Ei$ner and sell him the domain in a year.
:D
He's from Bakersfield? well now I know he's nuts. ;)

This has nothing to do with the OP, so why bring it up? This was a discussion regarding the website, not ME's travels and meetings.

No, you brought up Micheal Eisner and what he personally does or doesn't do and you were responded to. He doesn't need save Eisner.com, he has the entire resources of the Walt Disney Company at his disposal. It's perfectly relevent both to the topic and your specific post.

Actually one of the better deals out there for web hosting (I use them for my site),
http://beachpartymovie music.com (http://www.beachpartymoviemusic.com )
but this Eisner apologist character is definitely a web neophyte.
How do I know? If he wasn't, he would have paid the extra $9 for GoDaddy's "private domain registration" option (which I do), which allows one to set up a site but keep the owner/manager's name/address etc. off of "whois", which is how disrailfan (and anyone else who wants to) got all the personal info on Gary.

And we need to know this why?????
Personally, I'm surprised the moderator has not deleted this personal information.

I didn't see it publicly listed on the website. Perhaps I missed it.
What's the relevance anyway to post it here anyway?

The only relevance I guess was someone trying to prove how much of an internet amature this person is. As for the info, it's not on his website, it's list in the domain registration info at whois.

YoHo,
I was referring to the fact that Eisner did not develop a site to project his ideals like Roy and Stanley did. I brought up Eisner specific to this point and nothing else. Therefore, the comment regarding using our money to fly all around was irrelevant to developing a website.

But A website is merely 1 form of publicity. Within the context of what Micheal Eisner may ro may not be doing to defend himself and the funds he is using to do it, it's very relevent to this discussion. Sure, he didn't create a website. He did certainly use Disney funds to counter Roy's website.
It's very relevent.

But what ME did is what he is expected to do as CEO. If Roy is out there beating down the company, then the CEO needs to out there defending it. In a warped sense, ME is spending Disney money to defend Disney- and himself- because of Roy.

I haven't deleted this information because it is publically available, and I make it a policy not to arbitrarily delete information. No, it's not really relevent to the discussion, but our conversations commonly wander afield from (and occasionally back to) our topics.
Perhaps it's time to wrap this particular thread up...
