This info is in an article in this weeks travel trade paper.............

Virgin is launching three new routes, they will start flights later this year to Sydney via Hong Kong,Havana in Cuba and Nassau in the Bahamas.

The services have been expected since Virgin boought four slot pairs at Heathrow for £20 million! An increase in flights to New York,Boston and Washington plus the Sydney route are likely to utilise these.

The new services from Gatwick will operate twice-weekly to Havana from July 21st and once a week to Nassau from July 18th.

Grenada and Tobago will double to twice a week frequency,Las Vegas will gain a fifth weekly flight in July 2005 and **ORLANDO will gain another daily service from October 2005!**

Is this of interest to anyone?:sunny:

Hey Kazzie

Great news, especially as someone like me who is a keen traveller and prefers Virgin over BA.

Thanks for posting.

they didn't spend the money on improving what they already have.

Until last year we were Virgin frequent flyers but saw a big decline in their service compared to other airlines.

Not a fan of Virgin (or BA) !!

Hi,

Although there are rumors that Virgin might announce improvements to their economy service later this year.
