My airfare from ORD to MCO dropped by about $60 a person... how do I go about getting a travel voucher for the difference?

When I book via the internet or over the phone, I just call the airline and ask the agent. On one occasion, I booked via Travelocity, so I called their customer service agent. He said he could not issue a voucher, but he added on the airline's reservation center (NWA) and the agent sent me the voucher.

If you use a travel agent, I am not sure if you can get a voucher. Maybe someone else will know.

I also am not sure if all the airlines have the same policy as NWA. The best advice I have is to just call your airline and ask. I'm sure they get these kind of calls all the time.

Good Luck!

its irregardless if you used a TA unless the new fare is an internet only fare. then its doubtful that you would get the refund voucher.

Hi -

I actually did this today. I had originally booked my USAir flights on internet only fare, and today they dropped each $20 for a total savings of $80, so they are sending me a voucher for the differencce. This new fare was also an internet only fare, so I don't know if it applied to me since I already had an internet only fare, or if anyone could have called and received that reduced fare. The one thing I do know is that the fare has to be available on your EXACT itinerary, so make sure it's available on the flights you have already booked.

I also just did this today. We had booked with American online for an internet only rate of $209.50 and $211.00.
Checked online today and saw the rate was now 184.00 . Called American online support and they are issuing a voucher for $27.00 and one for $25.50. I love these boards and saving extra money. Should help pay for another Character Breakfast LOL!
