View Full Version : Anniversary on board
If you let DCL know that you are celebrating your wedding anniversary whilst on board, do they do anything special for you on that night?

Our servers brought us a cake at dinner and sang to us. They didn't do it on the correct night, but we didn't care.

If you will let DCL (or your travel agent) know about your special day, they will present a cake...along with some good natured ribbing. One year we chose a different day (other than our actual anniversary) because we didn't want to wait until the last night. The DCL rep was wonderful about noting it and the cake arrived on the requested day.
Hope this helps!

We celebrated our 5 yr wedding anniversay on board this past year. We made reservations at Palo for the night of our anniversay while gma & gpa babysat our 3 yr old princess: We told our main server the night before that we would not be at dinner the following night because of Palo reservations & he said "Oh no, you must at least come here for appetizers. We have a little something for you". Our Palo reservation was for 7:30 and we had early dinner so we did just that. They presented us with a cake, sand a song & the man in charge of all servers (forgot his title) did some tradition from his native country of binding our hands together and reciting some little poem. It was fun & our princess: loved the cake!
