Everyone, I need help. I just tried to read thru the 22 pages on vouchers, and I am lost.

I understand that you can save some money on food when using a voucher, but isn't the savings eaten up by the cost of joining Hotwire or Connections???? :earseek:

Or do you join for free, order vouchers, and then cancel right away?

Help!!! :earsgirl:

we have saved tons of money by using them, just with using a few or so, depends are where you use them, covers the membership for the year plus your meals are paid for before you go with tax and tip. we use only 2 vouchers for the 4 of us everytime and had plenty of food, there are people that dont like them and there are people that like them and know how, where to use them for the great savings:sunny:

I joined Hotwire Savings Club with the intentions of cancelling my membership before the 30-day trial expired. At $7.99 per month, I didn't think that it was worth it.

But the meal vouchers and theme park tickets are not the only benefit of the membership. They have gift cards for a lot of the places that I shop at and they rebate 20% of the purchase price of the cards.

Well, I realized that I spend at least $50 per month at Target and by purchasing 2 $25 Target gift cards every month, I will more than make up for the $7.99 that Hotwire will be charging me.

We also rent movies for "Family Movie Night" at Blockbuster. I had to buy a wedding shower gift at Macy's. DD wanted some books from Barnes & Noble. The costs were adding up.

They have restaurant GCs, including ones that can be used in Orlando like Hard Rock Café and Planet Hollywood.

Last week, I ordered 7 $25 GCs. I will get a $35 rebate for them. Chances are, I will spend those GCs completely by the end of the month. That $35 is more than 4 months' worth of membership fees!

As long as the benefits outweigh the costs, I think I'll stick with the membership for a while.

How do the rebates work. Do they send you a check or do you get a credit with Hotwire?
