The "Poison Pill" Savior of Disney

It was reported by Bloomberg news on Feb 19, that Disney hired a "Poison Pill" attorney presumably to protect the company from take-over. I have heard nothing more regarding this since. I also, remember someone(possibly AV or AirLarry) speculating that a follow up to the muppets purchase could be an EchoStar purchase to increase size of the company beyond Comcast' reach and also create a potential FCC stumbling block.
Anyone know anything else?

I don't, no...

But I do know that there has been speculation going on as to possible 'remedies' to Comcast, including:

1) Pac-Man defence - you bid for me, I bid for you.
2) Devolution - what does Comcast really, really want? That? Right? SELL IT.
3) Acquisition - what is Comcast? Is there a similar company, but within our price range? Yes? That one? BUY IT.

Out of all of them, the second one pops up more often as this would help decrease debt and could also solve the problems posed by the severed arm by making them - well - not Disney's problem anymore :)
