My 2 Yr old DS loves to spin around, so I figured he'd really like this ride. But, I've read in two guides that it's not appropriate for under 3 yr. If we don't spin tea cup, do you all think it would be too much?

We took a 3.5 year old and a 12 month old on the teacups. Both were fine, and we did spin the cup a little bit.

The cup may spin a lot even if you do nothing.

At Disneyland they modified the cups so they don't spin that easily, following an accident where someone fell out of one that had been spun very fast by the riders inside.

It is possible that Mad Tea Party at WDW may be similarly modified in which case very little spin will occur unless you pull on the center wheel.

We took our DD's 3 and 18 months on this ride in 9/03. They both had loads of fun. In fact we rode mutiple times at their request.

My son who is 12 loves to spin the t-cups and so do I.
My brother and I spun the t-cup so much I was dizzy for about 3 hrs afterward lol

My 3 year old loves to just sit and laugh at everyone else spinning like mad. I let her spin us a little (such a strong girl!) but I didn't want her to get sick. She loved it though! :)
