i will be going to WDW in October,2004 with my mother. She has been 3 times. I have been 9. we are not interested in going to the theme parks. I would like to go to Pleasure island.

We have annual theme park passes, that will expire on November 3,2004.

can anyone recommend to me, any of the behind the scene tours at the WDW theme Park's,that is really worth the $, and really interesting.

I was going to go to Busch gardens and Kennedy Space center and then rent a car

But I am now thinking about staying at BCV and using disney transportation to go on some behind the scene tours, some of you may recommend to me, please.

I think many require park entry, so may want to go on one of these tours, before my annual park passes expire.

THank you in advance

KANSAS, I can vouch for the 2 DAK tours - Backstage Magic and the Wild by Design tours - they were excellent - both required park admission - DVC members and AP holders get a 15% discount

If you have any specific ??? on the DAK backstage tours feel free to ask

thanks
jaysue

EDITED: thought AP holders received 30% discount - it is 15% same as DVC members - see full post from passholders site below - apologies

We've done Dolphins in Depth which is wonderful. Great to see the behind the scenes at Living Seas and to meet and interact with the Dolphins.

We've also done the Stream Tream Tour. That one was great fun.

This May we are doing the Segway Tour in Epcot. I'm really looking forward to that one.

The all inclusive Keys of the Kingdom all day tour is the best of the best for backstage tours. We have done this one twice, and it was different each time. We try to do a different Behind the scenes tour each trip.

My family enjoyed the EPCOT Living Seas Aqua tour. It's a snorkling tour of the main exibit. If you're a certified SCUBA diver you can also take the DiveQuest tour, my son and I will be doing that one at the end of March.

One other thing forgot to mention, the DAK tours started at 0830 on non EMH days (park open at 9am) - so two things - 1) not sure if they still start at 0830 is DAK is the early entry park and 2) need to check with resort or on transportation board to make it in time if you are relying on Disney transport to get their on time

thanks

A little OT, but this got me thinking...
I booked the Family tour with the 15% DVC discount. Does the AP have a discount on this, too for more? We will get out first ever APs before our June trip.
Thanks!
