Is it cheaper to renew an adult annual pass? I am asking because mine is up in May but we are not going til Oct. If I renew is it cheaper and also would my new pass be effective in May or could I "hold" it til Oct?

Yes it is cheaper to renew your pass. And your renewal would start on the day your pass runs out.

It may be cheaper, but is it "cost effective" to renew starting May when you won't be going back until October, paying for half a year you know you won't be using?

I agree it is cheaper but if you plan on going several times on that pass you lose the 6 months that you will not be using it!
