Is this a nice place to have breakfast? Do you need to have priority seating?

They have a terrific breakfast--one of our favorites and we are BIG on breakfast!~ They have these wonderful breakfast quesadillas. They also have m&m pancakes for kids. Great Mickey waffles (huge and soft) with a great choice of toppings. They have these wonderful warm sticky buns called Stickey Mickeys. (Make sure you pour the buttery syrup from the dish right onto your Sticky Mickey. Yum!!!!)
We have never needed a priority seating--but we travel off season.

It's a great way to start the day! We went to Contemporary Steakhouse in late February, our first morning in WDW. I had made PS just to be on the safe side, but don't think it was necessary. This was after Presidents' Week so the parks weren't terribly busy. The restaurant was quiet, the service was friendly, and the meal was yummy. DH had oatmeal with fixings; DD had blueberry pancakes; I had Eggs Benedict. It's a nice, calm place to make your plans for the day. Chef Mickey's provides quite a contrast - much more busy, frenetic, and loud.
Happy Eating!

Excellent food quality. We also love going to Chef Mickey's since it is so spirited and of course there is always Chef Mickey himself - but the Steakhouse has wonderful food and excellent service.
My DH always gets the STicky Mickey. One year we thought about getting one to go to take home he loves it so much.;)
They seem to get you in and out but without rushing you at all. Very comfortable seating and really pretty quiet. It is magical to eat a meal there and watch the monorail glide thru.
I usually get the mickey waffle. Very buttery and huge. My DH gets different things each time, omelets, steak and eggs, etc and all have been excellent!

Portions are generous and the service is soliticious without being rushed. With most people opting for Chef Mickey's for breakfast, the CS often has tables available for walk-ins.
It's also a pretty good place for lunch. The burgers are by far the best in WDW.

The menu looked really good but I hadn't heard anything about it (until now!). I'm definately going to try it.

We recently went there for Breakfast and we were impressed. The food was really good, you can easliy walk in. You also might consider the Trails End buffet at FW
