I can't remember if it 10,000 or 100,000, so sorry if I got it wrong, but what happened to this ride? I don't see it on the map and I was thinkin' that when I went to WDW in '98 I don't remember going on it either? Is it gone? Why did they get rid of it? I remember liking it as a kid, although I think a little too confining for me now! LOL! Just wondering? TIA:earsgirl:

Gone , and glad it is, most people don't enjoy looking at plastic fish.

If you want more discussion about this, you might want to post your message and questions on the Theme Parks and Attractions message board.

It is/was 10,000...
It is, as reported- gone.
It was a waste of space, but I had fond memories of it. If I had known it was going I would have gone on it one last time...
Hey Ali- I lived in Halifax for a few years! On Walnut near Dal. My youngest was born at the QE II.
We moved to Texas in 98, boy was that a big change! I still really miss Halifax and my DS misses Maria who works at the Spartian on Quinpool road, very, very, much.

Just to clear things up... it was 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, named for the movie of the same name. It was in the area that is now Ariel's Grotto in Fantasyland, opposite Pooh. The water is still there. The queue area is now a character greeting spot.
Unfortunately, the ride closed many years ago and Disney never replaced it with anything. The subs sit neglected on the backlot (at least they were there last time I checked).
