What's your favorite spot for a good cold beer and cheeseburger at WDW?Looking for a comfortable and quiet place if that's possible at WDW.Just would like to lay back and enjoy a few minutes with a good brew and a burger.::yes:: :wave2:

Loved the burgers and microbrew at the Big River Grille on the Boardwalk, plenty of outside seating!

The Crew's Cup at Y&B Club has a great atmosphere...it's like an Irish pub. They serve burgers and other sandwiches until 5:00.

Yeah,
ESPN club is a cool hang out for that.

ESPN club at Wide World of Sports and the Yacht club is fairly quiet for lunch.

ESPN would be OK, if they had any good beer. But all they carry are the "usual suspects", so unless you are looking for just Bud Light, I'd avoid ESPN.
Big River Grille is just fine for a burger and a beer--they have several micros, on tap.
Crew's Cup is another spot (tho I've never actually eaten there). They have about 30 beers available (but many are those usual suspects), and nothing on draft.

Another vote for Big River, which brews its own beers, and Crew's Cup, which has a larger selection of beers than the usual Disney restaurant. The food is pretty good at both places and they both have some nice ambience (sitting outside on the Boardwalk at Big River is especially nice).

being a boring "bud lite' girl...I vote for ESPN.

Good burgers (and a good chicken sandwhich too!) lots of TV's for DH to watch...and a very good price. (honeslty - beer can be so expensive in WDW - I thought the bottle price as ESPN was really reasonable.)

Danny said he was looking for a quiet spot. Is ESPN quiet at times? The one afternoon we had lunch there, it wasn't very full but there were TVs on and it wasn't quiet at all. Maybe we hit it on the wrong day? It was fun to see all the sports stuff though.

As someone who's worked at ESPN, no. It's never quiet. There may be times where there are fewer guests, but the restaurant itself is never quiet.

It is always fun, though. :)

Although I'm a vegetarian, I love a veggie meal and a beer at Big River Brewing Co. on the Boardwalk. They have really awesome beers!

I appreciate all your replys, I will give Big River Grille a try on next trip(June) and give ESPN a try in December. The Crew's club sound's nice also and I will make a note that it also is a place I need to stop in for beer and burger.Thank you all for sharing.:wave2:

I love the burgers at ESPN!!! I'm not a beer drinker, so I can't give any info on their beer. Not a quiet place though... but fun!

"Quiet" is at a premium at WDW, especially when you're in burger & brew mode. I would recommend ESPN with the caveat that you don't want to go on the day of a big game.
