I wanted to find out if there was anyone interested in a DIS meet that included Dinner and a show at Epcot? WDW is offering a package that includes choice of soup, salad, or appetizer, entrée, dessert and non-alcoholic beverage at select Epcot restaurants. It also includes preferred seating at one of the BLAST! shows at the America Gardens Theater in Epcot.

There are four showtimes: 3:00, 4:30, 5:45, and 7:10. You can have dinner prior to or after the show. To read more about it, click on the link to the WDW website

I was tentatively thinking of going to the August 9th show at 5:45, with dinner afterwards at Le Cellier (Cheese Soup!!!!!!). If anyone has questions or comments, please post or e-mail me.

Brian,

DH and I would love to join you, but we have no idea when we're getting in on the 9th. If we can't get early stand-by seats, we won't get in until close to midnight.

I know we will catch the show, one way or another, over the weekend. But, I'm afraid we'll have to pass on joinging you and fellow DISers on Thursday.

Duh, Brian... after our conversation in pin chat, you KNOW we'd be interested! ;)

BTW, went to the MK today to catch the standstills. Saw Cadets, Cavies, Blue Devils, and Carolina Crown. Of course, Cavies looked and sounded awesome. BD's color guard looked like a bunch of fools, goofing off on stage.

Stood next to a FMM of the Cavies from the 60's. His son marched Cavies in the late 80's, and his other son is a WDW cast member at Blast!

Brian,
I would really love to join you but with the money I have to put aside for pins, the money I am spending for the breakfast (it had better be more than cereal and eggs for $50) and everything else I will be spending money on that week, I will have to pass.
I don't think we have been ignoring your post, we are all just in shock with realization of the amount of hours we will have to work after we get back to pay for these trips.
But I do hope to catch Blast while I am at Epcot, maybe we can all try to plan what time would be good for all of us and grab a big bunch of seats together. Peggie
