Herb Williams band.....

is the 1st band to perform when we are at mardi gras on 3/20/04 Does anyone know who this is? What kind of music is it? My daughter is so excited about Black Eyed Peas but they are second to perform. If we get there just for parade and 2nd band will it be too crowded to even see pararde and band? Thanks for any info!!!

Hey essmom, where did you find the info on who the 1st band is? Everywhere I look they still just list the Black Eyed Peas on the 20th and Donna Summer for the 27th. I am assuming Herb is local talent and whoever is the first band on the 27th will also be local.

just found it again- go to universalorlando.com and then go to mardi Gras and then go to FAQ and scroll down to entertainment.It has first and second bands listed.

Boy are you in for a treat! I got to hear this band on our last visit and WOW. REALLY good. Very entertaining too. They played a variety of music at City Jazz (not jazz music by the way, although one member does play a sax). Great dance stuff.

I think mostly what I heard was familar music (other people's stuff) - but sometimes with their own style.
