How intense is Mission Space? Please compare it to other rides at Disney World.

I didn't think it was intense at all. But I love coasters and such. It is really a simulation ride, and I compared it Star Tours or Body Wars, in the sense that it makes you feel that what is happening on the screen is really happening. Try it once!

My answer: pretty intense. I will try it one more time(on an empty stomach), if I feel light headed like that again, it will be my last time. It was pretty cool though.
Go for it, it’s a lot of fun.
I am 54 with a bad back and I thought I was going to die on Body Wars, given that as a little back ground I was scared to death to ride Mission Space.
I thought it was a fun ride, not long enough and a bit over rated , but, neat, you got to try it.

I agree with the above poster, it was pretty intense!
My dh, dd11, dd20 and dn13 just did this a few weeks ago. My dd11 is a chicken and doesn't like thrill rides. I think she just went on it to be with her Dad. Anyway, they all said it was OK. Pretty cool, not as great as they thought. No one felt like they were spinning and no one felt sick. I was surprised it was so... well, uneventful for them. No one really talked about it the rest of the day either. Go figure.

I agree, it was pretty intense. I like thrill rides, but this one did make me queasy. In the end, did think it was a tad overrated and never gave it a second thought after the first (and only) ride. Gotta do it once, though! Have fun!

See my description of this attraction in:

And it may answer all you questions and help you decide if Mission: Space is for you.
Enjoy!

I don't know that you can compare it to any other rides. It is a simulator. However, most of the simulator rides there are pretty jerky. MS isn't. I hate roller coasters. I really avoid anything that drops. I won't even get on ferris wheels. This ride isn't scary. It is interesting. It is intense because of the feelings it puts your body through. It took all my concentration to look clearly at the screen at times. I think I had a little more trouble than most because I wear glasses. I had to work to focus at the beginning. It didn't bother my stomach at all. However, I don't have any problems with motion sickness. DH has problems with motion sickness. He said he was ok after the ride, but that he'd throw up if he went on it again. We went to DQ after EPCOT and he avoided any simulator/VR rides all night.
