Well we went to Disney last November with the Salute to Savings plan that they had. I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about some discounts for this year.
Thank you in advance!!

We took advantage of the Military Salute this past December...what a great deal! I have not heard any news about discounts being offered. We'll be there this April, and we plan on getting the Stars and Stripes pass.::MinnieMo

Yeah I planned on getting the Stars and Stripes pass but I have to look into the cost advantage. We are staying at Disney (SOG) for 6 nights but only want to do the park for maybe 4 days then the next week my sister is going to rent a house in Orlando (Windsor something(?)) And she wants us to stay with her for a few days and go to Disney with her family for a day or two. So I have to deside if I buy the length of stay pass and a park hopper plus. Or just do a park hopper plus for the whole thing.

I don't know how strict SOG is on the Stars and Stripes length of stay. We bought them in 2002 (Sept) and if I recall correctly, we bought them the morning after we arrived (CR)...then they just asked us "for how long". I don't remember them looking at dates or anything....

Ashejen-It would be my luck that they look at the ticket. I always have that kind of luck. I think my husband would kill me if I did it and then we couldnt get in. Plus I have been saving my Reward Points to get a Disney giftcard and slowly go and get my kids passes there paid for before we go. That way we can use the tickets for two trips. (three days this trip and next year 4 days) Then just buy the Stars and STripes while we are actually staying there

We got the stars and stripes pass in 2002 as well and we were okay to drop off arrival and departure days but the tickets had the valid date info on the back of the pass. I wasn't sure if it was suggested you get tickets beyond your departure or what but you must be onsite to get stars & stripe passes. Remember too that all ticket media thru SoG is tax-free. That does add up especially if you buy several passes.
