Are you allowed to drive a GC to WL?

for the first time We are going to bite the bullet and get a golf cart for our entire stay. Are you allowed to drive them over to WL and if you can is there parking areas? Ive seen people driving on the road and the bike path and wondered about it?

At one time you could drive a cart on the exercise trail to the Lodge, but the last few years you have not been allowed to do that. They are very emphatic when renting a cart about what is allowed.

You will have a blast with a cart--it's our kids favorite ride!!

Does anybody know why they don't want you to take the GC to wilderness lodge? I don't understand this and thought maybe someone could shed some light for me...:confused:

Considering how the golf carts are abused I'm not really surprised. They are often stolen and driven into the lakes or woods. One day we heard them saying that 3 had been stolen the night before.
