Do EMH parks open earlier than posted?

I read in one of the guidebooks that MK sometimes opens a little earlier than the posted time for the EMH. For example, you might get in at 7:45 am at MK, instead of 8:00 am. Is this true? If so, do you know which parks do this and how early they really open?

I don't know about busier times of the year, but when I was there in February with my mom, both MK and AK opened for EMH exactly at 8am!

I've experienced this a couple times only at MK. Most recently, in late Dec. or early Jan. (forget which day of our visit - we did EMH there twice), they opened the gates 10 min. earlier than EMH was supposed to start. But only Main Street was open. They kept ropes up that led to the various lands until the exact appointed time.

When I was just back in Feb., we did EMH twice at MK again. But each time, they opened the gates exactly at 8:00.

What's a little irritating is when AK opens their gates late on an EMH day. :mad: This has happened to us more than once, but only at AK. The other parks seem very prompt. In Feb., AK didn't open the gares until 8:10 on one EMH day when we went.

We went to Epcot for the early entry day. They started letting us in at 7:55.
