I wasn't planning on it but I got up early and had to go food shopping so I decided to do my 30 minutes at "It Figures" before I hit the store. I am so happy that I still have that urge to keep exercising, 'cause I've never done this before. Thanks to all of you for all of the encouragement.

2 friends and I walked 5.5miles this morn. Stopped for a coffee 2/3rds of the way.
So today I can say I did 16,000 steps instead of the usual 10,000 on the pedometer

I don't usually excercise on the weekends, but I was up early so I decided to do my WATP. (Plus a little guilt induced by a wedding buffet yesterday......)

Weekends are hard to get motivated, but I find I do enjoy exercising more then as I don't feel pressured. Today I did three miles on my treadmill, alternating walk/jog for 50 minutes and burned about 320 calories. It felt good to have the extra time to properly warm-up and cool-down, something I admit I sometimes rush or skip. Did 100 crunches and some weights for my arms too.
Hooray for us:bounce:

Me too, it was so nice again today I just had to get outside and walk. I walked around our block, a bit more than a half of hour at a nice brisk pace.

Good for you! I find it very difficult to get my exercise in over the weekend. That's something I need to work on. Congratulations and keep up the great work!

I find it much easier to get my walking done on the wknds. During the wk its dark/cold when I get home from work. The mornings can be a rush getting ready for school & work.
Even when our wknds are filled w/activities I can usually at least find an hr to wallk.
By the time yesterday was done I had 18,400 steps on the pedometer.
