Coming with 4 senior citizens and they hardly eat anything. All they want is the kids meals. I actually like them too, but I just don't know if any of them, will allow 7 adults 50 and over to just order kids meals???

Most of the fast food restaurants have a kids meal sign that says something to the effect of "for our young patrons only."
For example (from the Columbia Harbour House)
Little Mates
Reserved for Mickey's Little Friends Only Please
Served with Character Cookies and a child's beverage
Macaroni and Cheese - $3.49
Bologna and Cheese Sandwich - $3.49
I'm not too sure many would want to eat Kids meals for an entire trip as the selections are really limited. Usually a tiny slice of pizza, small bowl of mac and cheese, or uncrustable. Why not just split fast food meals? Then you have more variety at a lesser price. Most of the sandwiches (with the exception of hamburgers) are split in two which makes for easy sharing.

I would think you would get tired of eating hot dogs and chicken strips.
Try ordering a couple of adult meals and sharing..or ordering a variety of appetizers and sharing them with everyone at the table.
You will enjoy the food much more, and you won't have a lot of waste.

As long as you stick with the fast food places that have counter service, you will not have a problem when you order a kid's meal.
It's a great idea to share a full size meal, although there are times when no one in your party wants to "share", so the kid's meal is perfect. However, I would not attempt to order from the kid's menu at any sit down restaurant.::MinnieMo

Share meals many times,me being a diabetic I can't eat the huge portions you get at Disney.I think this will give you a much larger selection of great food. You could order from children's menu and it would not be a problem,I've never seen anyone told "no you can't order that".My wife and I have ordered a childs portion and split for afternoon or evening snack, again in part to me being diabetic and needing to eat 6 small meals during the day to keep sugar in balance.::yes:: ::MickeyMo :wave2:

We've done it before - several times. Never been told no.
The last trip to WDW there were 3 of us. Ages 44, 49 and 80. We shared meals at most places. When we ate at MGM counter service we ordered a double burger with fries, and an extra bun. That way we could split the burgers, and we really had a good amount of food. I have been charged, a very minimal amount, for the bun in the past but this time it was free. At Roaring Forks, WL, we ordered a hot dog (from adult menu), no fries, and it was less expensive. Every place we went, we explained that we were sharing, most sit down restaurants would bring an extra plate, and at B&C they had split the meal for us. Not sure if there is extra charge, but we don't like to waste food, and most adult portions are just too large. I used to order the child portion of chicken strips, but WDW switched child's meal to chicken nuggets and they just don't look as tasty.

I'd share your meals and I would order kids meals. Share when you get tired of the kids menu ::yes::

Good ideas about sharing the meals. I know I would get tired of kids meals, but my parents eat hardly anything anymore, and I would be wasteful. So thanks for the advice.
