Hi

Does anyone know any sites/companies that offer Family/Quad Rooms for 5 at the Gatwick Hilton?

We have found one company and booked - FHR - for £185 for 1 night and 15 days parking. I can't seem to find any other companies that offer rooms sleeping 5 people, as if there is somewhere cheaper we can cancel for free and re-book.

Thanks if you can help.

Richard. :)

Hi Richard,

We've booked Le Meridien in the North Terminal for £79 without parking, I don't know the costs with parking, but am sure it's less than The Hilton.

That's for a family room, which is a double bed, double sofa bed and a travel cot. We did this last year also and although it took them 3 attempts to get us to the right size room, we got there in the end!
We had to book on the phone though to request the travel cot as you can't do it online for some strange reason.

We had a family room at the Gatwick Hilton in August 02 although it had a king size and 2 singles (although they seemed more like queen size to me) I think that we booked it through a company called ABC travel, I will take a look for the paper work and hopefully come back to you later if I find it.

Hi there,

We have stayed 2 years running at the Brooklyn Manor Hotel, a Victorian B&B very near to Gatwick. They do family rooms and parking too. Round the corner to the Hotel is a large pub which does great food where lots of cabin crew hang out. We paid £107 for 14 nights parking and a family room, there were 4 of us.

Thanks for your replies.

Snookhams, I have looked at ABC Extras site and can't seem to find a family room option  Perhaps I should give them a call.

Thanks again!

Richard.

Hi There:D

We are a family of 5 and we have found a gr8 farm to stay at. It is about 7mins to Airport...cost is £75 for the room including transport to and from airport and cooked breakfast. They then charge you £2 on top to park the car per night so...14 nts = £28.

I have the website but dont know how to post as a link...sorry :(

Can't seem to find paperwork, but I know that I did book over the phone and they were very helpful, had previously contacted the Hilton themselves and they told me that they did not have any family rooms!

Richard,

If the room isn't showing it might mean their allocation is already booked up,but still give them a ring to check:p
