Yeah!! BUT - I don't see Wishes listed - What do you think? - Just haven't figured out a time yet, or are they not planning to do them?

n2mm,

Thank you! Wishes on the 24th! Yeah.

I figured there would be because there is a Grand Gathering Fireworks voyage scheduled for that night at the MK.

Thanks again.

Does anyone know why Wishes is scheduled for after the park closes on some nights?

Does it make sense that Wishes is scheduled after the MK closing time, i.e. Wishes at 8:45 when MK is scheduled to close at 8:30? Thanks for your help!

May 18th is the only day that Wishes isn't scheduled? Or did I miss it? That's my birthday and our last day there, so I was hoping for Wishes...but I'll see it earlier in the week!

I counted 5 nights where Wishes isn't schedule, including the 1st-2nd. I really, really like Disney new trend towards later park hours with Wishes almost every night. I know it probably means the end of e-ride nights, but I like knowing that during our vacation we'll be able to go to Wishes any night during our trip (or again and again).

I do think it makes sense that Wishes is sometimes scheduled after park closing. Fantasmic starts at the same time as MGM "closes," same with Illuminations and Fantasmic. What that means is that every ride and most shops/snack shops will close at that time, but there will still be that closing show.

Oops! You're right. We're going to be there from the 8th-19th, so I didn't pay enough attention to the beginning or ending of the month. There are several days with no Wishes in May.

Now I have to go redo our itinerary! Wishes is only being shown one of our park days -- the one we had planned to do Biergarten dinner and illuminations. I'd rather know now though. I wish I knew for sure what was going to happen June 1st (our last park day) so I could really plan.

Are the fireworks viewable from anywhere outside the MK or do you have to be in the park? We'll be there June 2&3 for non-park days (conference). That may change the itinerary again. Tx.

The hours for MGM and Typhoon Lagoon are unavailable this soon. Can I assume that MGM will open at 9? And what about TL, does it open at 9, 10? I want to be sure I'm among the first in line on our swimming day.

OH No!

No wishes on the Friday, Saturday, or Sunday night during Memorial weekend? Doesn't that seem strange (May 28th, 29th, or 30th)? If that doesn't change I'll be really bummed :(

Here are MGM's hours and Fantasmic scheduled hours according to the employee site. PLEASE NOTE THE TIME ON 5/19!!!

MGM is openned 9:00 AM to 8:30 PM (5/1 to 5/8)

5/9 to 5/31 the hours are 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM (with exceptions)

5/25, 5/28, 5/29, 5/30 openned until 10:00 PM

Here the odd one: On 5/19 MGM hours are 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Did a little research and found that there is a private function that night (sponsor/Visa) so park closes early.

Water Park hours posted for the entire month (both parks):

10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

FANTASMIC TIMES:
April 5-17 -- 8:30pm & 10pm
May 1-8 -- 8:30pm
May 9-18, 20-24, 26, 27, 31 -- 9pm
May 25, 28-30 -- 9pm & 10:30pm

Thank you so much for posting this information! I am wondering if anyone happens to know the times for Illuminations in May? We'll be there May 8-16, but only in parks May 9-15.

Also, someone mentioned they were doing Chef Mickey's and would be able to see Spectro and Wishes from there? Is that possible? We are at CM's May 10 & 15--if we could see Wishes from there, that would be great.

Thanks!

Illuminations is at 9:00pm every night, unless the part closes early for a special event, which is very rare.

You could not see Spectro and Wishes from inside Chef Mickey's, you could see Wishes from a balcony off a viewing platform on the side of the Contemporary. I don't think you could see Spectro.

We will be at Epcot on May 10. I see on the Disney calendar that epcot closes at 8:30 on that night. Does this mean no Illuminations? Say it isn't so!!
