How crowded is MK on Sundays?

My first full day will be this Sunday and I know I have to go to MK and ride Splash Mountain lots and lots but how bad are the crowds on Sundays I just want to know what I'm up against.

We've typically found Sundays to be a slow day at MK. However, I will NEVER do a Monday again. Don't know if it was just our luck but both times we tried going to MK on Monday it was PACKED. We're not going on to MK on Monday when we go the end of next month.

We always do MK on Sundays. We get there at park opening and can get lots done. We have a young daughter so we usually hit Fantasyland right away and get all of those rides done because later in the day Fantasyland is a gridlock of people and strollers.

Yes, Sunday & Thursday is EMH for MK. It used to be Monday & Thursday. We went to MK on a Sunday last October (arriving for EMH) and it was still very peaceful.

I once read in a WDW guidebook that most people travel on Saturday/Sunday and start touring the parks on Monday. The park they usually start with? Yep, Magic Kingdom.

We always used to enjoy Sundays at MK. IMHO, with EMH now on Sunday, it's more crowded. However, if you look at park hours, they are still packing them in on Mondays, too!;)
