Hi - Stupid Question:

I'm a motor vehicle impaired male. I wouldn't know a full size from a standard or intermediate car.

When we get to the Emerald Aisle, if there isn't a mini-van or an obvious luxury vehicle - I want to make sure I get what I reserved - a full size car and not mistakenly take a lower class model - what should I be looking for.

Thanks.

Midsize cars are like the Pontiac Grand Am, Olds Alero, Dodge Stratus or Ford Contour. A fullsize would be a Buick Regal, Chevy Impala, Pontiac Grand Prix, Olds Intrique, Ford Taurus or a Dodge Intrepid. National usually features GM products but sometimes they have others as well. I hope this helps.

National has signs posted in each row to tell you which row has the full-size, compact and so on.

Last time I was there, they had all vehicles parked in the Emerald Aisle with no separation as to what they were. In the "regular" aisle, they specify.

Check National's Website, for their size types of cars. If there aren't a lot of cars on EA, walk through the other rows, as suggested, to get an idea of models/classes. If you see something on EA that you like, take it. If there isn't, stand around for a while or sit on your luggage (look tired and annoyed) and someone will eventually help you. I was ready to take one of the (only) 2 cars on EA, when DH pointed out that they were both intermediates. He's a car buff, and looked at the full size aisle and apparently could tell that the car on EA was not a full size?? The attendant offered and we took, an SUV. Good Luck:D
