Hi everyone.
My name is Steve and I work as a nursery manager here in England. We specialise in "exotic" (to us at least) plants, palms, bamboo, bananas etc. I shall be visiting WDW late May this year and was wondering if there are any tours around the parks that would cover the gardening side of things. It's a bit dificult to get much info directly from WDW as the only way I can contact them is via their e-mail Q&A service.

Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks
Steve

Hi Steve and welcome to the DIS Flower/Garden Board.

You are going to WDW right smack in the middle of Epcot's Garden Festival. Chek out following link: Click here (http://allearsnet.com/tp/ep/flogar.htm)

Also check out this second link which takes you to tours that Disney offers. Second link to click (http://allearsnet.com/btp/tours.htm)

You will see towards the bottom of the 2nd link's page the different tours offered in the different parks. You might like to check out the "Behind the Seeds" and "Gardens of the World" tours offered at Epcot.

Have lots of fun!

Oh great! I'm such a big help.

I just clicked on those links I offered you in my above posting and note that neither tour will be available for you to do. The first one "Seeds" is temporarily closed due to some construction at the Land Pavillion and "Gardens of the World" tour is not offered at the time of the Epcot Garden Festival. :o :o

Welcome to Dis Steve. I can't help you with your question but just wanted to say  .

Tulirose: I was so impressed with your links. Had visions of Snowwark...then I read your 2nd post :teeth:.

mary - I am so honored that you equated me with Snowwark! :teeth: And then laughed in embarrasment at the second part of your statement!!

(Perhaps Steve will find another Disney tour of interest from the link that is not garden-related )::yes::
