We are planning a trip to WDW May 1- May 7. I have spent WAY too much time trying to find the just right place to stay. We are driving and prefer off site. Two years ago we stayed at Caribe and loved it, but they have significantly raised their rates and done away with the breakfast buffet.
Main issues for us is:
POOL... must be a spectacular pool for ages 8 and 10. Waterfall, waterslide etc.... Looked at HIFS but they look like they just have sprinklers (would bore my kids).
Looked at Raddisson parkway, but the rooms look a bit small.
Am leaning toward cypress point grand villas. The vistana look great but a bit much for my budget.
Any help would be wonderful I can't break the bank staying at $200/ night propertys though.
thanks so much in advance.

okay have you tried
www.skyauction.com
for 2-bedroom timeshares (not hotel rooms - too expensive here)
or
http://www.hotelkingdom.com
for rooms
there are several reviews here for Cypress Point - kept in mind they are during construction.

You are not going to like my response, but Spectacular pool and budget are hard to combine. Almost all the budget places I know of just have normal type pools

I would definetly try hotelkingdom.com They have the grand cypress villas for a pretty resonable rate.

At the Orlando World Center, there are more opportunities for fun and adventure than you will have time to indulge in with just one visit. Start with the amenities on the property and you'll find more of a paradise than resort.
We bring you more than 1,000,000 gallons of liquid refreshment in six pools and six hot tubs, right outside your door. If there's a more dramatic, inviting pool complex than ours, we've yet to see it. Soothing waterfalls, curvy slides and, everywhere, tropical landscaping. Lay out under the palms, head for a hot tub, seek your energy from the sun. And just when you think you've seen it all, there's yet another pool beckoning just around the corner.
This one use to come up a lot on priceline. You would need to check out one of the bidding on priceline sites to see if it is still availible.

I was going to suggest priceline. However, there is VERY high risk that you could get the Hilton as opposed to the Marriott. Hilton does not meet the pool requirements.
If the pool requirements are set in stone, I would not use Hotwire and/or Priceline.
