Air drying clothes?

This time I will not over pack. I will not over pack. I will not
over pack.

However, when I tried to air dry my swimsuit in the room, it never
completely dried out.

We will be there in early May and I can't machine dry some of my
clothes.

Has anyone else had this problem? Do your clothes air dry and actually dry in the rooms?

Yep, they do, I hang them up and turn on the air.

My clothes always take several days to air dry in the room. If you were in a resort with a balcony, you could air dry them outside on the balcony as long as it wasn't raining. :earsgirl:

My clothes don't dry out well in one day inside a room, but if it is outside on a nice day, then it is usually done within half the day.
I usually over pack alot-so we are bringing extra suitcases and bags for our clothes and gifts.

We have had clothes that remain a little damp the next morning. Our "tricks" for dealing with this are leaving them in the sun to dry, which works really well if you have a balcony. (Just make sure they aren't going to fall off or blow away!) Also, get an iron and press damp clothes. That dries them quickly.

I stay at my DVC most of my trips to WDW and have a dryer, but there are some clothes I like to air dry.
I picked up one of those travel clothes lines and use it on the balcony all the time. I hang it below the railing so it doesn't look tacky from outside, I am the only one who sees the clothing hanging.
I hook it on the railing and onto the door. It came with attached clips, little paper clip type hooks. It is ok for a few wet suits, but I wouldn't hang too much on it. Peggie

For bathing suits I take a clean towel from the bathroom, wrap the suit in it and wring it out. Doing this takes out a lot of the extra moister and then hang them up to dry the rest of the way. There is nothing worse the trying to put on a suit that is still damp and cold.

light weight hand washables ( unders) dried fine in a day on the tub line, some of my "not dryable" pants I hung out on the balcony on the back of the chair ...i looked to see if you could see them from below and you couldn't.
